The tech industry is exploding right now and there’s not enough students studying tech or enough qualified professionals to fill the demand. A Digital Skills Aotearoa survey released recently found that New Zealand does not have the skills required to take on a world in which, by 2025, as many as 149 million new digital technology jobs are expected to be created.
That is an insane number of new jobs, so to ensure N.Z. has the skills to fill all the roles within the I.T. and Tech industries we offer several ways to study for free
Our Level 5 Certificate in I.T. and Client Support is eligible for Fees Free Study under this new government initiative, supporting students in tech study. All domestic students are eligible regardless of prior study. It can be used before First Year Fees Free and does not impact your First Year Fees Free eligibility.
WHAT DOES IT COVER?
The Government's fees-free scheme means eligible students do not have to pay tuition fees in their first year at Yoobee Colleges. If you choose to study our Level 5 programme for free using the Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund outlined above, you can also use First Year Fees Free afterwards for another year study.
For example, get 2 years free study
