Domestic Students:

  • 17yrs+

  • Applicants must hold a New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology (Level 5), IT Technical Support (Level 5), or Diploma in Web Development and Design (Level 5), or have equivalent qualifications from overseas institutions.

  • Students without a Level 5 IT qualification or equivalent may present a portfolio of work that demonstrates skills equivalent to a Level 5 certificate/diploma.

  • Applicants should be competent in computing and IT skills and may be asked to provide evidence of this.

International Students:

  • 18yrs+

  • English language competency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5, attained within the last 2 years.

  • Must have attained a standard of educational achievement equivalent to a Level 5 certificate/diploma.

  • When required, the Faculty Lead or their delegate may interview candidates to determine eligibility for admission.

Special Admission Category:

Applicants who do not meet the general admission requirements may apply for special admission based on relevant experience and skills, supported by the following documentation:

  • Documented industry experience

Public Cloud Administration

Provides a comprehensive understanding of public cloud infrastructure, focusing on configuring, managing, and adapting to evolving IT industry demands. Students will explore virtualised environments, cloud service models, and best practices for deploying scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based platforms. Emphasis is placed on ensuring high availability, optimising performance, and maintaining business continuity through efficient cloud operations.

Multi-Cloud Security

Bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry application in multi-cloud security. Students will explore security best practices, threat detection, identity and access management, and compliance considerations across multiple cloud platforms. The project-based approach ensures hands-on experience with advanced security tools, troubleshooting techniques, and real-world cloud security challenges, preparing students for enterprise-level responsibilities.
