These courses are applicable from those currently studying NCEA Level 1 - 3 and are comfortable and competent with Level 3 study.

We recommend combining the below two courses for in-depth understanding of Esports and Streaming:

A bit more information
For optimal performance when studying remotely, we recommend:
Your computer is up to date (ensure you have the latest version of the necessary plug-ins, drivers, bug fixes and security updates)
You have reliable internet speed and connection
A webcam and microphone
Do not use a Chromebook - Chromebooks are not intended for heavy-duty processing such as Adobe Creative Cloud software
Headphones are optional - but recommended for noisy environments
Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects, OBS Streaming Software. We will provide information on how to access this for free via a free trial (If you do not already have access to this)
Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects - Under a 7 day trial and then download the software [this can take some time to install] or use the school’s licence.
Check the specifications of your computer as these are sizable files and not suitable for a Chromebook etc – as a work around you could consider using a free web based software, if this causes issues.
Adobe Login (not a subscription)
(How to create an Adobe FREE login and download a 7 day free trial before your class – you do not need to purchase or provide a credit card – if you get that message – please watch this video and use an email address that has not been used before with Adobe.) Adobe.com/nz create an account
To create an Adobe login you will need to provide: first name, last name, date of birth and email address and then confirm the login via an email sent from Adobe or they can login using their school login if they have one.
