Learn how to plan, prepare and develop 2D animation like a boss.
This 9-week programme covers:
Idea development and techniques
Create mood boards and storyboards
Produce animation assets using the paint tools in Adobe Photoshop
Scalable vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator
Keyframe animation and motion paths in Adobe After Effects
Rendering an animation to a video file that can be used in film and games
These courses are applicable to those currently studying NCEA Level 1 - 3 and are comfortable and competent with Level 3 study.
Unit Standard details:
US 29791 - Capture and prepare digital media for integration into other applications (2 Credits)
Learn how to create animation assets using paint tools in Photoshop and vector graphics in Illustrator to be used for motion graphics and keyframe animation in After Effects.
US 29796 - Collaborate effectively with others in a digital environment (7 Credits)
Discover how to project plan with a group, create and present storyboards and collaborate with others for idea generation and development.
