Once you have completed this course, you will have an NZQA NZ Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4).

You will be able to complete this qualification while still working

This Certificate is designed for:

Individuals who engage in some adult and tertiary teaching or training

Delivering education or training in a workplace as part of their role or in the community as a volunteer.

To select and apply facilitation, teaching and learning strategies, using resources and technologies to meet specific outcomes

You'll need a PC or Mac of your own, with reliable internet access to join online meetings.

Equipment

For optimal performance when studying remotely, we recommend:

  • Your computer is up to date (ensure you have the latest version of the necessary plug-ins, drivers, bug fixes and security updates)

  • You have reliable internet speed and connection

  • A web cam and microphone

  • Do not use a Chromebook - Chromebooks are not intended for heavy-duty processing such as Adobe Creative Cloud software.

This programme is funded and does not have a course fee.

You must be in employment and consistently involved in adult training as part of your role, with access to 3-6 adult learners in your workplace or in a community based organization.
