The Yoobee Creative Pathfinders Scholarship seeks to remove financial barriers for individuals passionate about pursuing careers in Animation, Technology, and Marketing and Creativity, fostering a path for these emerging creatives to flourish.

Scholarship Overview

The Yoobee Creative Pathfinders Scholarship provides full coverage of tuition fees* for the first year of study in any of our Bachelor’s programmes. Open to all eligible applicants, this scholarship supports those who not only demonstrate a strong passion for their chosen field but also show the potential to make a meaningful impact in New Zealand's creative sector.

By covering Year 1 tuition fees*, we aim to relieve financial pressures on aspiring students, enabling them to concentrate on skill development, building a solid academic foundation, and realizing their creative potential.

Programmes Covered Recipients of this scholarship will receive full tuition* coverage for Year 1 in any one of the following programmes:

  • Bachelor of Animation

  • Bachelor of Software Engineering

  • Bachelor of Marketing and Creativity

  3. Submit any required documentation to meet academic entry requirements.

Selection Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of Aotearoa New Zealand or hold a New Zealand residence class visa.

  • Meet the academic entry requirements for Year 1 of your chosen bachelor’s programme.

  • Demonstrate English language proficiency (if your first language is not English), with an IELTS score of 6.0 or above and no band lower than 5.5.

Academic Expectations

The scholarship recipient must meet all academic requirements, pass all courses with a minimum grade of C or higher, and complete the programme within the standard duration for full-time students.

*This scholarship covers tuition fees and the student service levy for Year 1. If this is your first time studying at Tertiary level, you may also be eligible for TEC’s Final Year Fees Free. You can check out your eligibility for this via https://www.feesfree.govt.nz/
