Immerse yourself in the full-screen production process and create amazing video content!
From pre-production (creating concepts for film and television projects) right through to production (the magic that happens when the camera rolls) and post-production (polishing and editing what you’ve captured on camera), the Diploma in Screen Production will give you the industry-relevant tools to create your own short film or passion project from scratch.
Working both in a team and on your own, you’ll get to write, direct and shoot dynamic screen productions. You’ll then get to put the finishing touches on your productions by learning the most industry-relevant and cutting-edge post-production techniques.
Better yet, you’ll be able to take credit for all your hard work by seeing your name in the credits of a short film that you’ve produced, directed, and edited at a special screening of your work.
By the end of this programme, you will have completed a self-driven project, curated an online presence and completed a dynamic showreel.
With experience in every aspect of screen production and a professional showreel to your name, the Diploma in Screen Production will give you the skills to apply for an entry-level role in the fields of film, television, or post-production.
Successfully complete this course and you’ll receive the New Zealand Diploma in Screen Production (Level 6) [Ref. 3213].
